It’s natural to wonder what to expect. Here are common questions:
How will my children react?
Your kids will love the experience. I’ve worked with hundreds of families, with children of all ages. Family documentary photography is a universally loved approach to family photos. I promise.
What kind of photographs will I get? Is there room for traditional family photos of all of us?
You will receive a gallery full of story-telling photographs in the chronological order in which they happened. If you’d like, we can absolutely make time to get a few family photos where you’re all looking at the camera.
What do we do during our session?
The best option would be something you all enjoy to do together. I can help you plan something that’s meaningful to your family.
Is it outdoors or indoors, or both?
It can be both. Longer sessions can accommodate multiple locations, whereas shorter ones means we can stick close to one place.

How does it all work?
Each documentary family photography session starts with a consultation session. These sessions allow us to meet and daydream about what your family might do during your photography sessions.
Consultation sessions are complimentary and do not obligate you to proceed with a booking. But no booking should happen without one! They’re fun :)
Family Photography
Investment ranges based on the number of adventures captured (length of time)
Packages start at $575 and always include your session fee + digital files + something tangible because you should be able to access your memories easily & joyfully for the rest of your life.
Birth Photography
Investment includes an on-call period of two weeks before & after your due date, storytelling photos during your entire active labour & delivery as you meet your baby + a home session a few days after you’re settled in to your babymoon period.
